1. Please don't rush to join any affiliate program without doing some checking. Your extra carefulness would be well worth it.
2. Join a quality and reputable affiliate program. When in doubt, go to www.ftc.gov to see what kinds of reputation or track record your program of choice has. Ask or talk to your friends here in the community to see whether you should be concerned about certain problems.
3. It is very important that you don't spread any false rumors about any affiliate program. It is fair and the right thing to do, to always have proof or evidence before you announce that a program is a fraud.
4. Check into it to see what kind of tracking system the affiliate program has, so that you don't get cheated.
5. No matter how fantastic an affiliate program may be, you still need to market it for you to generate the traffic required for people to sign-up and for you to make money.
6. Please use the variety of marketing mediums available here at Adlandpro to get the message about your affiliate program to your friends and community members.
7. Be creative in your approach and try other sources too. Don't depend on the forums to generate sales. It is not effective.
8. Be prepared to spend some money if you have to, in order to increase your traffic and increase your rate of sign-ups. Don't complain that you don't have money to do this: please for goodness sake you are in business. You will spend some money.
9. Be realistic about your income goals. Don't expect to set-up a website today and become a millionaire tomorrow. That is internet hype that has long been exposed. It just doesn't work like that. You should be prepared to put in some effort in order to rip some rewards.
10. Never, Never entirely depend on free advertising because majority of them don't work. Set aside certain hours a day to tend to your online business and take care of other aspects of your life too.
11. Let your friends in the community know about your affiliate program in a sincere way. Take a moment to build friendships. Don't meet someone today and then turn around and blast them with your sales pitch. They will see through such insincerity and nobody likes to be used that way.
12. Remember that when you support your friends' businesses, you will also get support in a mysterious and miraculous way. This is how life is. Don't always be the one that is asking everyone to buy from you or join your programs. You should also go out of your way to buy from others, sign up for your friend's programs and support others in the community. Thia how the gates of prosperity will open up for you.
13. Please be sincere to yourself and your friends. Don't go to their forums and tell them that you will check out their programs when you don't intend to do so. Once that friend gets mad at you, there goes a properity opportunity.
14. When you have recieved evidence or proof that the affiliate program that you joined is not generating any income for you, please drop it. Have the courage not to fall in love with it or hold on to it because of indecision. You are in this process to make money so be smart and think as a business person.
